Well, Since I didnt want to fork out over $100 for a set of not realistic Rudder Pedals and $400 is too much for some nice simulator pedals, I had to make my own!  My Wife and I call it Home Depot Aviation.  Most everything that it took to build them can be purchased at Home Depot.  The linear taper variable resistor and the Joystick cable were the only two things that had to purchased elsewhere.

However, I didnt just stop at making the pedals, I also made the throttle quadrant in a separate box which sits on your desktop.  This was wired back via an old serial cable and a rewired DB9 connector.

This project has undergone 2 major revisions so I pretty much call them Pedals 3.1 now.  Revision 4 of the pedals will be using a USB joystick that will be connected to a Flight Console that will fit on the top of the desk.  The current throttle quadrant will be part of this console.

Yes, they work quite well!
